The Garden

In Bull's time, there was both an ornamental garden and a kitchen garden, apple trees, berry bushes, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. They even had a cold frame in the garden. Now, the Øvre Rendal Garden Society takes care of the garden. From "Mr. Samuel's Kingdom," Bull writes the following: Samuel Mandall paced back and forth in the paths of the small garden south of the old parsonage, eagerly observing the ongoing garden work.
