Kattholmen

In 1896 Ludvig Frøseth moved to Kattholmen. He bought fresh fish from the local fishermed, put it on ice and sent it to Bergen. Salt fish, on the other hand, he got from Trøndelag and brought it here to dry on the rocks and sell as dry fish to Kristiansund. Kattholmen also had a canning factory and many workers had a job here during the crab season.
