Set aside a few minutes to photograph the view in addition to the obligatory selfies, Instagram and Facebook updates. Then you pack up the photo equipment and just watch. Take in the sounds, the light, the smells and the little story we can tell you about the surroundings you are standing in the middle of. The people who shaped the cultural landscape lived their lives in a way that allows us to have it the way we have it now. Some of the human stories make an impression, and you have just given yourself the opportunity to know a little more about those who walked here before us. This rest area was completed only a few years ago, and those behind the project can enjoy extensive use of the area.
